Immerse yourself in the beauty of Khao Sok National Park on our overnight tour! Spend the night sleeping in a canopy house, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle. Wake up to the peaceful echoes of the morning mist and get ready to explore the stunning Cheow Lan Lake and its pristine rainforest. Get up close and personal with nature as you paddle downstream the Sok River on a bamboo raft. Experience the tranquility of the crystal clear waters at Nam Rad Watershed, perfect for a refreshing swim. This two-day trip is perfect for the whole family, offering an unforgettable adventure in one of Thailand's most unique and beautiful areas.

Brief Itinerary

Day 1
There are two options for the first day's morning activities;
​
A) With elephant activities.
Pick up from your hotel in Khao Lak, and head north to Khao Sok National Park. Arrive at the ethical elephant camp. Get the great elephant experience by joining the elephant-friendly Care Program. We offer "No Riding", learn about elephants, make healthy food for them, do a mud-spa, and brush them in a river. Feed those gentle giants with some special treats. Make a stop at the Panturat Cave to see wild monkeys. Enjoy delicious communal Thai lunch.

B) Without elephant activities.
(For those who do not want to participate in the elephant activities)
In the morning, get picked up from your hotel in Khao Lak, and head north to Khao Sok National Park. Arrive at the national park headquarters. Set off jungle walking along the trail. Our guide will help you get acquainted with flora & fauna. Walk up to the stream where you can swim in crystal clear water, surrounded by lush rainforest. On this trail, you can expect to see wild monkeys, langurs, and some reptiles. Enjoy the sound of the jungle before walking back. Have delicious Thai lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon
After lunch, board a bamboo raft, rowed by local professional rowers, who will show you the beautiful scenery of the river. Sok River is one of the best spots to view picturesque limestone mountains, birdlife, and some reptiles. Halfway through a journey by bamboo raft, you will get jungle coffee served in a bamboo cup. Get picked up by our driver and check in to the Tree House, a nature theme styled resort. Enjoy dinner and sleep in the tree house surrounded by nothing but the sound of nature.

​Day 2
Wake up to the morning call of the gibbons in the jungle canopy and get breakfast before getting picked up and heading to Takhun District. Arrive at "Nam Rad Watershed Creek", and just swim in the "Emerald Pool" the crystal clear creek. Enjoy the natural surroundings.

Arrive at the pier of "Cheow Lan Lake" and take a boat trip to see its highlights. Visit the lake's iconic spot "Three-brother Pillar" to capture some pictures, or even take a swim right off the boat. ​Make a stop at the cave, hidden in the lake, with beautiful stalagmites and stalactites.

Arrive at the raft house, Enjoy a delicious Thai lunch, with a 270-degree view of the lake. Spend the time just simply relaxing or swimming to beat the heat.
​
Have sightseeing along the lake before returning to the pier.
​
15:30 Arrive at the pier, get on the coach, and head to Khao Lak. Make a quick stop to capture the panoramic view of the lush rainforest at the Khao Sok View Point.
17:45-18:30 Arrive at Khao Lak.

Bring : sun protection, sunglasses, hat or cap, camera, towel and spare clothes, closed-toed shoes (for cave walk), comfortable shoes, toothbrush and toothpaste, phone charger, insect repellent, snack, photo of passport.
Tip : To save your accom expense budget, you can check out your resort, and leave your luggage at the resort or us while you are on the tour.
Cancellation Policy : For a full refund, cancel at least 3 days in advance of the start date of the tour. Late cancellation that will incur 2,500.- thb / person, for the cancellation fee.

FYI :
- Khao Sok Lake, Cheow Lan Lake, and Rajjaprabha Lake are the same lake.
- The order of activities in the itinerary can be rearranged to avoid tourist crowds or suit the weather conditions.
- We pick up early, you may want to order the breakfast box from your resort to have on the go
- Water and drinks are provided throughout the trip.
- Khao Sok is the wettest place in Thailand, raining is very common. If it is storming we will cancel the tour, without any charge.
- We can drop you off after the tour at any address in Khao Sok Village or Khao Lak area.
- The joined tour, we max NOT more than 8 people per group.
- If your booking group has 6 people or more, we will upgrade to "Private Tour".
- We can arrange vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free foods.
